अपास्य च्युत-संस्कारम् असमर्थं निरर्थकम् |
वाक्येऽपि दोषा सन्त्य् एते पदस्यांशेऽपि केचन ||7।52||

Except cyuta-saṃskāra (grammatical mistake), asamartha (unable to be meaningful), and nirarthaka (meaningless), literary faults also occur in a sentence. Some faults also occur in a part of a word. Examples are shown in order.

Commentary:

The faults in a word (pada-doṣa) have been shown. From now on, the aforesaid faults in a sentence (vākya-doṣa) will be exemplified. The faults in a part of word (padāṃśa-doṣa) are illustrated from text 7.47. More faults in a sentence are expounded from text 7.52.
