अ॒स्मिन्त्स्वे॒३॒॑तच्छक॑पूत॒ एनो॑ हि॒ते मि॒त्रे निग॑तान्हन्ति वी॒रान् । अ॒वोर्वा॒ यद्धात्त॒नूष्वव॑: प्रि॒यासु॑ य॒ज्ञिया॒स्वर्वा॑ ॥
अस्मिन्त्स्वेतच्छकपूत एनो हिते मित्रे निगतान्हन्ति वीरान् । अवोर्वा यद्धात्तनूष्ववः प्रियासु यज्ञियास्वर्वा ॥
asmin sv etac chakapūta eno hite mitre nigatān hanti vīrān | avor vā yad dhāt tanūṣv avaḥ priyāsu yajñiyāsv arvā ||
English translation:
“This iniquity (found) in this Śakapūta, when Mitra is propitious, destroys opposing heroes, when thei.e., Mitra or Varuṇa; avaḥ = food; when the approaching Mitra (or Varuṇa) gives protection to the sacrificial ritesand bodies of the worshipper who delights him with oblations].”
