Rig Veda 9.69.1

इषु॒र्न धन्व॒न्प्रति॑ धीयते म॒तिर्व॒त्सो न मा॒तुरुप॑ स॒र्ज्यूध॑नि । उ॒रुधा॑रेव दुहे॒ अग्र॑ आय॒त्यस्य॑ व्र॒तेष्वपि॒ सोम॑ इष्यते ॥
इषुर्न धन्वन्प्रति धीयते मतिर्वत्सो न मातुरुप सर्ज्यूधनि । उरुधारेव दुहे अग्र आयत्यस्य व्रतेष्वपि सोम इष्यते ॥
iṣur na dhanvan prati dhīyate matir vatso na mātur upa sarjy ūdhani | urudhāreva duhe agra āyaty asya vrateṣv api soma iṣyate ||

English translation:

“(Our) praise is attached (to Indra) as an arrow to the bow; (the Soma-juice) is let loose to (Indra) the fosterer as a calf to the udder to its mother; (Indra sheds blessings) as a cow having a copious stream of milk yields it when coming into the presence (of the calf); in Indra's sacrifices the Soma is stimulated.”

The fosterer: ūdhani = Indra, because he is the nourisher of everything
