अमा॑य वो मरुतो॒ यात॑वे॒ द्यौर्जिही॑त॒ उत्त॑रा बृ॒हत् । यत्रा॒ नरो॒ देदि॑शते त॒नूष्वा त्वक्षां॑सि बा॒ह्वो॑जसः ॥
अमाय वो मरुतो यातवे द्यौर्जिहीत उत्तरा बृहत् । यत्रा नरो देदिशते तनूष्वा त्वक्षांसि बाह्वोजसः ॥
amāya vo maruto yātave dyaur jihīta uttarā bṛhat | yatrā naro dediśate tanūṣv ā tvakṣāṃsi bāhvojasaḥ ||
English translation:
“(Alarmed) at your violence, Maruts, the heaven seeks to rise higher, abandoning the firmament, where(you) the strong-armed leaders (of rites) display the ornaments of (your) person ns.”
