आ नो॑ रु॒द्रस्य॑ सू॒नवो॑ नमन्ताम॒द्या हू॒तासो॒ वस॒वोऽधृ॑ष्टाः । यदी॒मर्भे॑ मह॒ति वा॑ हि॒तासो॑ बा॒धे म॒रुतो॒ अह्वा॑म दे॒वान् ॥
आ नो रुद्रस्य सूनवो नमन्तामद्या हूतासो वसवोऽधृष्टाः । यदीमर्भे महति वा हितासो बाधे मरुतो अह्वाम देवान् ॥
ā no rudrasya sūnavo namantām adyā hūtāso vasavo 'dhṛṣṭāḥ | yad īm arbhe mahati vā hitāso bādhe maruto ahvāma devān ||
English translation:
“May the sons of Rudra, givers of dwellings, the unsubdued, invoked on this occasion, stoop down to us, inasmuch as we call upon the divine Maruts that they may be our helpers in difficulty, great or small.”
