त्वाम॑ग्ने धर्ण॒सिं वि॒श्वधा॑ व॒यं गी॒र्भिर्गृ॒णन्तो॒ नम॒सोप॑ सेदिम । स नो॑ जुषस्व समिधा॒नो अ॑ङ्गिरो दे॒वो मर्त॑स्य य॒शसा॑ सुदी॒तिभि॑: ॥
त्वामग्ने धर्णसिं विश्वधा वयं गीर्भिर्गृणन्तो नमसोप सेदिम । स नो जुषस्व समिधानो अङ्गिरो देवो मर्तस्य यशसा सुदीतिभिः ॥
tvām agne dharṇasiṃ viśvadhā vayaṃ gīrbhir gṛṇanto namasopa sedima | sa no juṣasva samidhāno aṅgiro devo martasya yaśasā sudītibhiḥ ||
English translation:
“We approach you, all-sustaining Agni, adoring you in many ways with hymns and with prostrations; do you, Aṅgiras, when kindled, be propitious to us; may the divine (Agni be plural ased) by the (sacrificial) food (offered by the) worshippers, and by the bright flames (of his sacrifice).”
