आ॒दाय॑ श्ये॒नो अ॑भर॒त्सोमं॑ स॒हस्रं॑ स॒वाँ अ॒युतं॑ च सा॒कम् । अत्रा॒ पुरं॑धिरजहा॒दरा॑ती॒र्मदे॒ सोम॑स्य मू॒रा अमू॑रः ॥
आदाय श्येनो अभरत्सोमं सहस्रं सवाँ अयुतं च साकम् । अत्रा पुरंधिरजहादरातीर्मदे सोमस्य मूरा अमूरः ॥
ādāya śyeno abharat somaṃ sahasraṃ savām̐ ayutaṃ ca sākam | atrā puraṃdhir ajahād arātīr made somasya mūrā amūraḥ ||
English translation:
“Having taken it, the hawk brought the Soma with him to a thousand and ten thousand sacrifices, and this being provided, the performer of many (great) deeds, the unbewildered (Indra) destroyed, in the exhilaration of the Soma, (his) bewildered foes.”
