वि घ॒ त्वावाँ॑ ऋतजात यंसद्गृणा॒नो अ॑ग्ने त॒न्वे॒३॒॑ वरू॑थम् । विश्वा॑द्रिरि॒क्षोरु॒त वा॑ निनि॒त्सोर॑भि॒ह्रुता॒मसि॒ हि दे॑व वि॒ष्पट् ॥
वि घ त्वावाँ ऋतजात यंसद्गृणानो अग्ने तन्वे वरूथम् । विश्वाद्रिरिक्षोरुत वा निनित्सोरभिह्रुतामसि हि देव विष्पट् ॥
vi gha tvāvām̐ ṛtajāta yaṃsad gṛṇāno agne tanve varūtham | viśvād ririkṣor uta vā ninitsor abhihrutām asi hi deva viṣpaṭ ||

English translation:

Agni, born for sacrifice, (a man) praising you, who are excellent, for (the sake of cherishing) his body, becomes such as you are; exempts himself from all who are inclined to harm or revile him; for you, Agni, are the especial adversary of those who do wrong.”
