Part 17 - Treatment of Piles (16): Chanchat-kuthara rasa

Two parts, each, of mercury, sulphur, and iron; one part, each, of trikatu, danti, and kustha; six parts of langali; and five parts, each, of javaksara, rock salt and borax; thirty-two parts, each, of calf’s urine, and milk of snuhi are to be mixed together and boiled in an iron pot by mild heat, till the whole thing is dried up. Dose, twelve raktis, each. This medicine cures all sorts of piles. Sleeping in day-time is specially to be avoided.
