Equal quantities of mica, mercury, sulphur, aconite, trikatu, rock salt, jira, and black jira are to be rubbed together, for seven days with juices of nirgundi, garlic, and apamarga. The compound is then to be put inside an earthen puta and heated by means of the third kind of the baluka-yantra. This medicine, in doses of one rakti each, taken with honey, juice of betel leaves, and powdered maricha, cures fever with the sensation of cold.
