यद्याचरति धर्मं स प्रायशोऽधर्ममल्पशः ।
तैरेव चावृतो भूतैः स्वर्गे सुखमुपाश्नुते ॥ २० ॥yadyācarati dharmaṃ sa prāyaśo'dharmamalpaśaḥ |
taireva cāvṛto bhūtaiḥ svarge sukhamupāśnute || 20 ||If he practises virtue for the most part, and vice only in a small degree, then, invested with those same material substances, he obtains happiness in heaven.—(20)
Medhātithi’s commentary (manubhāṣya):
‘For the most part’—to a very great degree.
‘Those same material substances’—i.e., those beginning with the Great Principle and ending with the Great Elemental Substances.
He obtains happiness in heaven.—(20)
