Invocation
ALL-HAIL TO THE BRAHMAN.
Om Tat Sat.
केनोपनिषत् असहनाववतू सह नौ भूनक्तु सह वीर्यं करवावहै ।
तेजस्विनावधितमस्तु माविद्विपावहै ॥ १ ॥
ओं शान्तिः । शान्तिः । शान्तिः ।sahanāvavatū saha nau bhūnaktu saha vīryaṃ karavāvahai |
tejasvināvadhitamastu māvidvipāvahai || 1 ||
oṃ śāntiḥ | śāntiḥ | śāntiḥ |
1. May (Brahman) protect us both. May (Brahman) enjoy us both. May we work together. May the self-luminous Brahman be studied by us. May we not hate each other.

आप्यायन्तु ममाङ्गानि वाक्प्राणश्छक्षुः श्रोत्रमथो बलमिन्द्रियाणि छ सर्वाणि सर्वं ब्रह्मौपनिषदं माहं ब्रह्म निराकुर्यां मा मा ब्रह्म निगकागेदनिरकारणमस्त्वनिराकरणं मेऽस्तु तदात्मनि निरते य उपनिषत्सु धर्मास्ते मयि सन्तु ते मयि सन्तु ॥ २ ॥
ओं शान्तिः । शान्तिः । शान्तिः ।āpyāyantu mamāṅgāni vākprāṇaśchakṣuḥ śrotramatho balamindriyāṇi cha sarvāṇi sarvaṃ brahmaupaniṣadaṃ māhaṃ brahma nirākuryāṃ mā mā brahma nigakāgedanirakāraṇamastvanirākaraṇaṃ me'stu tadātmani nirate ya upaniṣatsu dharmāste mayi santu te mayi santu || 2 ||
oṃ śāntiḥ | śāntiḥ | śāntiḥ |
2. May my limbs, speech, prana, eye, ear, strength and all my senses grow vigorous. All (everything) is the Brahman of the Upanishads. May I never deny the Brahman. May the Brahman never spurn me. May there he no denial of the Brahman. May there he no spurning by the Brahman. Let all the virtues recited by the Upanishads repose in me delighting in the Atman; may they in me repose!
