The Garga-samhita Verse 8.13.44, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. युद्ध-भृद् उद्धव-सखा
मन्त्री मन्त्र-विशारदह्
वीर-हा वीर-मथनह्
शङ्ख-चक्र-गदा-धरह्

yuddha-bhṛd uddhava-sakhā
mantrī mantra-viśāradah
vīra-hā vīra-mathanah
śaṅkha-cakra-gadā-dharah

He is a warrior (yuddha-bhṛd), the friend of Uddhava (uddhava-sakhā), a counselor (mantrī), expert at giving counsel (mantra-viśārada), a killer of great warriors (vīra-hā and vīra-mathana), and the holder of a conch, disc, and club
