The Garga-samhita Verse 8.10.9, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 8 of Chapter 10 (The Paddhati and Patala of Lord Balarama) of Canto 8 (balabhadra-khanda).

ध्यायेत् परं हरिं देवं
बलभद्रं सनातनम्
गौरं नीलाम्बरं ह्य् आद्यं
वन-माला-विभूषितम्

dhyāyet paraṃ hariṃ devaṃ
balabhadraṃ sanātanam
gauraṃ nīlāmbaraṃ hy ādyaṃ
vana-mālā-vibhūṣitam

dhyāyet—should meditate; param—then; harim—on Lord Hari; devam—the Supreme Personality of Godhead; balabhadram—Lord Balarāma; sanātanam—eternal; gauram—fair; nīlāmbaram—with blue garmwents; hy—indeed; ādyam—the first; vana-mālā-vibhūṣitam—decorated with a forest garland.

English translation of verse 8.10.9:

Then one should meditate on Lord Balarāma, the eternal Supreme Personality of Godhead, whose compelxion is fair, and who is dressed in blue garments and decorated with a forest garland.
