षोडश-स्त्री-सहस्राणां
शृण्वन्तीनां हरिः स्वयम्
राधा-भक्ति-प्रकाशार्थं
प्रसन्नः प्राह रुक्मिणीम्
ṣoḍaśa-strī-sahasrāṇāṃ
śṛṇvantīnāṃ hariḥ svayam
rādhā-bhakti-prakāśārthaṃ
prasannaḥ prāha rukmiṇīm
ṣoḍaśa-strī-sahasrāṇām—as the sixteen thousand queens; śṛṇvantīnām—listened; hariḥ—Lord Kṛṣṇa; svayam—personally; rādhā—of Śrī Rādhā; bhakti—of the love; prakāśa—revelation; artham—for the purpose; prasannaḥ—pleased; prāha—said; rukmiṇīm—to Rukmiṇī.
English translation of verse 6.17.34:
As the sixteen thousand queens listened, cheerful Lord Kṛṣṇa, wishing to show them the depth of Śrī Rādhā's love, spoke to Rukmiṇī.
