भौमासुर-सखो दुष्टो
द्विविडो नाम वानरः
मारितो यत्र रामेण
मुष्टिना वज्र-पातिना
bhaumāsura-sakho duṣṭo
dviviḍo nāma vānaraḥ
mārito yatra rāmeṇa
muṣṭinā vajra-pātinā
bhaumāsura-sakhaḥ—a freind of Bhaumasura; duṣṭaḥ—a demon; dviviḍaḥ—Dvivida; nāma—named; vānaraḥ—a gorilla; māritaḥ—killed; yatra—where; rāmeṇa—by Balarāma; muṣṭinā—with a fist; vajra-pātinā—a thunderbolt.
English translation of verse 6.15.3:
With His thunderbolt fist, Lord Balarāma killed Bhaumāsura's friend, the demon gorilla Dviviḍa, in this place.
