The Garga-samhita Verse 6.14.1, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 6 of Chapter 14 (The Glories of Ratnakara, Raivata, and Kacala) of Canto 6 (dvaraka-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

श्री-नारद उवाच
द्वारवत्याः समुद्रस्य
माहात्म्यं शृणु मानद
सर्व-पाप-हरं पुण्यं
तत्-स्नान-फल-दं स्मृतम्

śrī-nārada uvāca
dvāravatyāḥ samudrasya
māhātmyaṃ śṛṇu mānada
sarva-pāpa-haraṃ puṇyaṃ
tat-snāna-phala-daṃ smṛtam

śrī-nārada uvāca—Śrī Nārada said; dvāravatyāḥ—of d; samudrasya—of the ocean; māhātmyam—the glory; śṛṇu—please hear; mānadaO respectful one; sarva-pāpaall sins; haram—removing; puṇyam—sacred; tat-snāna-phala-dam— the result of bathing there; smṛtam—considered.

English translation of verse 6.14.1:

Śrī Nārada said: O respectful one, please hear the glories of the ocean by Dvārakā City. Hearing the narration of these glories removes all sins and brings one the same result one obtains by bathing at that sacred place.
