The Garga-samhita Verse 6.7.39, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 6 of Chapter 7 (The Marriage of Shri Rukmini) of Canto 6 (dvaraka-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

एवं रामेण देवेन
बोधितो भीष्मकात्मजः
वैमनस्यं परित्यज्य
रुक्मिणी च ययौ मुदम्

evaṃ rāmeṇa devena
bodhito bhīṣmakātmajaḥ
vaimanasyaṃ parityajya
rukmiṇī ca yayau mudam

evam—thus; rāmeṇa—by Lord Balarāma; devena—by the Lord; bodhitaḥ—informed; bhīṣmakātmajaḥ—Rukmi, the son of Buismaka; vaimanasyam—unhappiness; parityajyaabandoning; rukmiṇīRukmiṇī; ca—and; yayau—attained; mudam—happiness.

English translation of verse 6.7.39:

Educated by Lord Balarāma's words, Rukmī and Rukmiṇī discarded their unhappiness and became happy.
