The Garga-samhita Verse 6.7.18, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 6 of Chapter 7 (The Marriage of Shri Rukmini) of Canto 6 (dvaraka-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

तताड गदया तं वै
गदाधारी गदाग्रजः
द्विधाभूता महा-शक्ती
रुक्मेः सूतं जघान ह

tatāḍa gadayā taṃ vai
gadādhārī gadāgrajaḥ
dvidhābhūtā mahā-śaktī
rukmeḥ sūtaṃ jaghāna ha

tatāḍa—struck; gadayā—with His club; tam—that; vai—indeed; gadādhārī—holding a club; gadāgrajaḥ—the elder brother of Gada; dvidhābhūtā—cut in two; mahā-śaktīthe two sakti weapons; rukmeḥ—of Rukmi; sūtam—the charioteer; jaghāna—hit; ha—indeed.

English translation of verse 6.7.18:

Lord Kṛṣṇa, the elder brother of Gada, hit the śakti weapon with His club and broke it in two. The two splinters of that weapon ricocheted and hit Rukmī's charioteer.
