The Garga-samhita Verse 6.2.13, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. हस्त-प्राप्तं वपुस् तस्मै
दर्शयन्न् इव माधवः
दूरं गतः श्यामलाद्रेः
प्राविशत् कन्दरं त्वरम्

hasta-prāptaṃ vapus tasmai
darśayann iva mādhavaḥ
dūraṃ gataḥ śyāmalādreḥ
prāviśat kandaraṃ tvaram

hasta—in the hand; prāptam—attained; vapuḥthe form; tasmai—to him; darśayann—showing; iva—as if; mādhavaḥLord Kṛṣṇa; dūram—far away; gataḥ—went; śyāmalādreḥ—a black mountain; prāviśat—entered; kandaram—a cave; tvaram—quickly.

English translation of verse 6.2.13:

Seeming only a hand's legnth away, Lord Kṛṣṇa ran a great distance and finally entered the cave of a black mountain.
