The Garga-samhita Verse 5.24.88, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 24 (The Killing of the Kola Demon) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

ततस् तस्मात् स्थलात् सो ऽपि
निवर्त्य गुरुणा सह
गङ्गा-तीर-स्थलान् पश्यन्न्
आगमिष्यति सद्-वृतः

tatas tasmāt sthalāt so 'pi
nivartya guruṇā saha
gaṅgā-tīra-sthalān paśyann
āgamiṣyati sad-vṛtaḥ

tataḥthen; tasmāt—from that; sthalāt—place; saḥ—he; api—also; nivartyaturning; guruṇā—guru; sahawith; gaṅgāof the Gaṅgā; tīra-sthalān—the shore; paśyann—seeing; āgamiṣyati—will come; sad-vṛtaḥ—witb the saintly sages.

English translation of verse 5.24.88:

Then he will leave that place. Accompanied by his guru and the great sages, he will see the Gaṅgā's shore and then return.
