स्रि-रम-युथ उवच कुब्ज-पुरद्यर्जु-समन-विग्रह दसि त्व् इदनिम् तु कुलिनतम् गत कु-रुपिनि रुपवति बभव् अहो चतुर्-दिनैर् दुन्दुभि-नद-करिनि स्रि-रम-युथ
sri-rama-yutha uvaca kubja-puradyarju-samana-vigraha dasi tv idanim tu kulinatam gata ku-rupini rupavati babhav aho catur-dinair dundubhi-nada-karini sri-rama-yutha
uvaca—te group of gopis headed by Sri Rama said; kubja-pura—crooked before; adya—now; rju-samana-vigraha—straight; dasi—maidservant; tv—indeed; idanim—now; tu—indeed; kulinatamthe state of being a poious and respectable girl; gata—attained; ku-rupini—ugly; rupavati—beautiful; babhau—manifested; ahah—Oh; catur-dinaih—with four days; dundubhi-nada-karini -sounding dundubhi drums.
English translation of verse 5.17.13:
The group of gopis headed by Sri Rama said: The girl Kubja was crooked and now she is straight. She was a lowly maidservant and now she is exalted and worthy of honor. She was ugly and now she is beautiful. For her the victory drums sounded for four days.
