The Garga-samhita Verse 5.1.16, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. श्री-नारद उवाच
इत्य् उक्त्वा स्व-जनान् कंसो
ऽक्रूरम् आहूय स-त्वरम्
रहसि प्राह राजेन्द्र
मन्त्रं मन्त्रि-जन-प्रियम्

śrī-nārada uvāca
ity uktvā sva-janān kaṃso
'krūram āhūya sa-tvaram
rahasi prāha rājendra
mantraṃ mantri-jana-priyam

śrī-nārada uvāca—Śrī Nārada said; ity—thus; uktvā—speaking; sva-janān—to his people; kaṃsaḥKaṃsa; akrūram—Akrūra; āhūya—calling; sa-tvaram—at once; rahasi—in private; prāha—said; rājendra—O king of kings; mantram—advice; mantri-jana-priyam—dear to the counselors.

English translation of verse 5.1.16:

Śrī Nārada said: O king of kings, after speaking these words to his people, Kaṃsa called for Akrūra and in private gave the following counsel, a counsel that
