रक्त-हस्ताः पीत-वस्त्राः
कूजन्-नूपुर-मेखलाः
गायन्त्यो होलिका-गीतिर्
गलीभिर् हास्य-सन्धिभिः
rakta-hastāḥ pīta-vastrāḥ
kūjan-nūpura-mekhalāḥ
gāyantyo holikā-gītir
galībhir hāsya-sandhibhiḥ
rakta-hastāḥ—red hands; pīta-vastrāḥ—yellow garmentś; kūjan-nūpura-mekhalāḥ—tinkling anklets and belts; gāyantyaḥ—singing; holikā-gītiḥ—with Holi songs; galībhiḥ—with arrogant words; hāsya—with laughter; sandhibhiḥ—mixed.
English translation of verse 4.12.15:
With red hands and yellow garments, and with rowdy songs and laughter, they sang about the glories of Holi.
