The Garga-samhita Verse 4.10.2, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 4 of Chapter 10 (The Story of the Pulinda Women) of Canto 4 (madhurya-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

पुलिन्दा उद्भटाः केचिद्
विन्ध्याद्रि-वन-वासिनः
विलुम्पन्तो राज-वसु
दीनानां न कदाचन

pulindā udbhaṭāḥ kecid
vindhyādri-vana-vāsinaḥ
vilumpanto rāja-vasu
dīnānāṃ na kadācana

pulindāḥPulindas; udbhaṭāḥ—exalted; kecit—some; vindhyādri-vana-vāsinaḥ—living in the forests of the Vindhya Hills; vilumpantaḥ—robbing; rājaroyal; vasuwealth; dīnānām—of the poor; na—not; kadācana—ever.

English translation of verse 4.10.2:

Living in the forests of the Vindhya Hills, many Pulinda highwaymen stole the kings wealth, although they never stole from the poor.
