The Garga-samhita Verses 4.7.15-16, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. श्रीवत्साङ्कं घन-श्यामं
सुन्दरं वन-मालिनम्
पीताम्बरं पद्म-नेत्रं
यज्ञ-वाटागतं हरिम्
तं दृष्ट्वा सहसोत्थाय
विमलः प्रेम-विह्वलः
पपात चरणोपान्ते
रोमञ्ची सन् कृताञ्जलिः
śrīvatsāṅkaṃ ghana-śyāmaṃ
sundaraṃ vana-mālinam
pītāmbaraṃ padma-netraṃ
yajña-vāṭāgataṃ harim
taṃ dṛṣṭvā sahasotthāya
vimalaḥ prema-vihvalaḥ
papāta caraṇopānte
romañcī san kṛtāñjaliḥ
śrīvatsa—with Srīvatsa; aṅkam—mark; ghana-syāmam—dark as a monsoon cloud; sundaram—handsome; vana-mālinam—wearing a forest garland; pītāmbaram—dressed in yellow garments; padma-netram—with lotus eyes; yajña-vāṭa—to the place of the yajna; āgatam—come; harim—Lord Kṛṣṇa; tam—Him; dṛṣṭvā—seeing; sahasā—at once; utthāya—rising; vimalaḥ—Vimala; prema-vihvalaḥ—overcome with love; papāta—fell down; caraṇa-upante—at the Lord's feet; romañcī—the hairs of his body erect with ecstasy; san—being so; kṛtāñjaliḥ—with folded hands.
English translation of verses 4.7.15-16:
Seeing handsome, lotus-eyed Lord Kṛṣṇa, dark as a monsoon cloud, dressed in yellow garments, decorated with a forest garland, and marked with Srīvatsa, enter the place of the yaj 24, King Vimala suddenly stood up, his hands respectfully folded and the hairs of his body erect with joy. Then, overwhelmed with love, he fell at the Lord's feet.
