The Garga-samhita Verse 4.4.2, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 4 of Chapter 4 (The Story of the Kaushala Women) of Canto 4 (madhurya-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

नवोपनन्द-गेहेषु
जाता राम-वराद् व्रजे
परिणीता गोप-जनैः
रत्न-भूषण-भूषिताः

navopananda-geheṣu
jātā rāma-varād vraje
pariṇītā gopa-janaiḥ
ratna-bhūṣaṇa-bhūṣitāḥ

navopananda-geheṣu—in the homes of the nine Upanandas; jātāborn; rāma-varāt—by the blessing of Lord Rāma; vraje—in Vraja; pariṇītā—married; gopa-janaiḥ—by the gopas; ratna-bhūṣaṇa-bhūṣitāḥ—decorated with jewel ornaments.

English translation of verse 4.4.2:

By Lord Rāmacandra's blessing they were born in the homes of the nine Upanandas. Decorated with jewel ornaments, they were married to various gopas.
