तस्मान् मुनिस् तु दुर्वासाः
बहु-भुक् त्वद्-धिते रतः
न तस्य भोजनेच्छा स्याद्
दूर्वा-रस-मिताशनः
tasmān munis tu durvāsāḥ
bahu-bhuk tvad-dhite rataḥ
na tasya bhojanecchā syād
dūrvā-rasa-mitāśanaḥ
tasmāt—therefore; muniḥ—the sage; tu—indeed; durvāsāḥ—Durvasa; bahu-bhuk—eating a great feast; tvad-dhite—for your sake; rataḥ—engaged; na—not; tasya—of him; bhojana—to eat; icchā—the desire; syāt—is; dūrvā-rasa-mitāśanaḥ—who only eats a small amount of durva grass juice.
English translation of verse 4.1.52:
Durvāsā Muni ate that great feast for your sake. He did not desire to eat it. He lives by drinking a little dūrvā-grass juice.
