The Garga-samhita Verse 4.1.4, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. गोपाल-कृष्ण-चरितं
पवित्रं परमाद्भुतम्
एतद् वद महा-बुद्धे
त्वं परावर-वित्तमः

gopāla-kṛṣṇa-caritaṃ
pavitraṃ paramādbhutam
etad vada mahā-buddhe
tvaṃ parāvara-vittamaḥ

gopāla-kṛṣṇa-caritam—the pastimes of Gopāla Kṛṣṇa; pavitram—sacred; paramādbhutam—very wonderful; etat—this; vadaplease tell; mahā-buddhe—O wise one; tvam—you; parāvara-vittamaḥ—the best of they who know everything.

English translation of verse 4.1.4:

O wise one, you are the best of they who know everything. Please tell this sacred and wonderful pastime of Lord Gopāla Kṛṣṇa.
