काश्चिद् वीणां वादयन्त्यः
समं वंशी-धरेण वै
काश्चिन् मृदङ्गं वदन्त्यो
गायन्त्यो भगवद्-गुणम्
kāścid vīṇāṃ vādayantyaḥ
samaṃ vaṃśī-dhareṇa vai
kāścin mṛdaṅgaṃ vadantyo
gāyantyo bhagavad-guṇam
kāścit—some; vīṇām—a vina; vādayantyaḥ—playing; samam—with; vaṃśī-dhareṇa—Kṛṣṇa, who held a flute; vai—indeed; kāścin—some; mṛdaṅgam—mrdanga; vadantyaḥ—playing; gāyantyaḥ—sininging; bhagavad-guṇam—the virtues of the Lord.
English translation of verse 2.24.15:
Some played the vīṇā as Kṛṣṇa played the flute. Some played the mṛdaṅga and sang songs of Lord Kṛṣṇa's glories.
