निषसाद हरिः कृष्ण-
तीरे नीर-मनोहरे
पुनर् जल्पन् सु-मधुरं
पश्यन् वृन्दावनं प्रियम्
niṣasāda hariḥ kṛṣṇa-
tīre nīra-manohare
punar jalpan su-madhuraṃ
paśyan vṛndāvanaṃ priyam
niṣasāda—sat down; hariḥ—Kṛṣṇa; kṛṣṇa—of the Yamunā; tīre—on the shore; nīra—water; manohare—beautiful; punaḥ—again; jalpan—speaking; su-madhuram—sweetly; paśyan—looking; vṛndāvanam—at Vṛndāvana; priyam—dear.
English translation of verse 2.19.29:
Looking at His beloved Vṛndāvana forest, and sweetly conversing, Lord Kṛṣṇa sat down by the Yamuna's beautiful waters.
