श्री-गोपदेवतोवाच
राधे त्वदीय-धिषणा धिषणं हसन्ती
वाणीं श्रुतिं प्रकुशलेन विडम्बयन्ती
अत्रागमिष्यति यदाथ हरिः परेशः
सत्यं ददाति वचनं तव देवि मन्ये
śrī-gopadevatovāca
rādhe tvadīya-dhiṣaṇā dhiṣaṇaṃ hasantī
vāṇīṃ śrutiṃ prakuśalena viḍambayantī
atrāgamiṣyati yadātha hariḥ pareśaḥ
satyaṃ dadāti vacanaṃ tava devi manye
śrī-gopadevatā uvāca—Śrī Gopadevatā said; rādhe—O Rādhā; tvadīya—of You; dhiṣaṇā—intelligence; dhiṣaṇam—Bṛhaspati; hasantī—laughs; vāṇīm—words; śrutim—the Vedas; prakuśalena—expertly; viḍambayantī—mocking; atra—here; āgamiṣyati—will come; yadā—then; atha—then; hariḥ—the Supreme Personality of Godhead; pareśaḥ—the Supreme Lord; satyam—truth; dadāti—gives; vacanam—words; tava—of You; devi—O goddess; manye—I think.
English translation of verse 2.18.28:
O Rādhā, Your intelligence laughs at Bṛhaspati and Your works cleverly mock the Vedas. When the Supreme Personality of Godhead Himself comes here and confirms Your words, only then will I believe them.
