श्री-नारद उवाच
सर्पः कृष्णं तु सम्पूज्य
परिक्रम्य प्रणम्य तम्
कलत्र-पुत्र-सहितो
द्वीपं रमणकं ययौ
śrī-nārada uvāca
sarpaḥ kṛṣṇaṃ tu sampūjya
parikramya praṇamya tam
kalatra-putra-sahito
dvīpaṃ ramaṇakaṃ yayau
śrī-nārada uvāca—Śrī Nārada said; sarpaḥ—the snake; kṛṣṇam—to Kṛṣṇa; tu—indeed; sampūjya—worshiping; parikramya—circumambulating; praṇamya—bowing down; tam—to Him; kalatra-putra-sahitaḥ—with his wives and children; dvīpaṃ ramaṇakam—to Ramanaka-dvipa; yayau—went.
English translation of verse 2.12.24:
Śrī Nārada said: After worshiping, circumambulating, and bowing down before Lord Kṛṣṇa, the snake, with its wives and children, went to Ramaṇaka-dvīpa.
