The Garga-samhita Verses 2.11.16-17, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 11 (The Liberation of Dhenukasura) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

वरूथपः कन्दुकेन
सन्तताड महा-खरम्
अथ कृष्णो ऽपि तं नीत्वा
हस्ताभ्यां धेनुकासुरम्
भ्रामयित्वाशु चीक्षेप
गिरि-गोवर्धनोपरि
श्री-कृष्णस्य प्रहारेण
मूर्च्छितो घटिका-द्वयम्

varūthapaḥ kandukena
santatāḍa mahā-kharam
atha kṛṣṇo 'pi taṃ nītvā
hastābhyāṃ dhenukāsuram
bhrāmayitvāśu cīkṣepa
giri-govardhanopari
śrī-kṛṣṇasya prahāreṇa
mūrcchito ghaṭikā-dvayam

varūthapaḥ—Varuthapa; kandukena—with a ball; santatāḍa—hit; mahā-kharam—thge great ass; athathen; kṛṣṇaḥKṛṣṇa; api—also; tam—him; nītvā—taking; hastābhyām—with both hands; dhenukāsuram—Dhenukasara; bhrāmayitvā—whirling about; āśu—at once; cīkṣepa—threw; giri-govardhanopari—onto Govardhana Hill; śrī-kṛṣṇasya—of Śrī Kṛṣṇa; prahāreṇa—by the blow; mūrcchitaḥ—fainted; ghaṭikā-dvayam—for an hour.

English translation of verses 2.11.16-17:

Varūthapa hit the great demon with a ball. Then Kṛṣṇa grabbed Dhenukāsura with both hands, whirled him around, and threw him onto Gocvardhana Hill. By the force of this the demon was unconscious for an hour.
