The Garga-samhita Verse 1.19.12, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 1 of Chapter 19 (Breaking of the Two Arjuna Trees) of Canto 1 (goloka-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

श्री-गोप्य ऊचुः
अस्मद्-गृहेषु पात्राणि
भिनत्ति सततं शिशुः
तद् अप्य् एनं नो वदामः
कारुण्यान् नन्द-गेहिनि

śrī-gopya ūcuḥ
asmad-gṛheṣu pātrāṇi
bhinatti satataṃ śiśuḥ
tad apy enaṃ no vadāmaḥ
kāruṇyān nanda-gehini

śrī-gopyaḥ ūcuḥ—the gopīs said; asmat—our; gṛheṣuin the homes; pātrāṇi—jugs; bhinatti—break; satatam—always; śiśuḥchild; tad api—still; enam—Him; na—not; u—indeed; vadāmaḥ—we say; kāruṇyāt—out of compassion; nandaof Nanda; gehini—O wife.

English translation of verse 1.19.12:

The gopīs said: In our homes the children break these clay jugs all the time. O wife of Nanda, we say that you are not kind.
