The Garga-samhita Verse 1.19.4, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 1 of Chapter 19 (Breaking of the Two Arjuna Trees) of Canto 1 (goloka-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

बाल-केलिर् बभौ नृत्यन्
मातुः पर्श्वम् अनुभ्रमन्
सुनादि-किङ्किनी-सङ्घ-
झङ्कारं कारयन् मुहुः

bāla-kelir babhau nṛtyan
mātuḥ parśvam anubhraman
sunādi-kiṅkinī-saṅgha-
jhaṅkāraṃ kārayan muhuḥ

bālachild; keliḥpastimes; babhau—manifested; nṛtyan—dancing; mātuḥof His mother; parśvam—the side; anubhraman—following; sunādi—melodious; kiṅkinītinkling ornaments; saṅghamultitude; jhaṅkāram—tinkling; kārayan—making; muhuḥ—again and again.

English translation of verse 1.19.4:

Dancing, following His mother, and making His ornaments jingle sweetly, He played as a child.
