तत्रैव सिंहासन उद्गते वरे
परस्परं सम्मलितौ विरेजतुः
परं ब्रुवन्तौ मधुरं च दम्-पती
स्फुरत्-प्रभौ खे च तडिद्-घनाव् इव
tatraiva siṃhāsana udgate vare
parasparaṃ sammalitau virejatuḥ
paraṃ bruvantau madhuraṃ ca dam-patī
sphurat-prabhau khe ca taḍid-ghanāv iva
tatra—there; eva—indeed; siṃhāsane—on a throne; udgate—manifested; vare—excellent; parasparam—together; sammālitau—caressing; virejatuḥ—were splendidly manifested; param—then; bruvantau—conversing; madhuram—sweetly; ca—also; dam-patī—husband and wife; sphurat-prabhau—splendid; khe—in the sky; ca—also; taḍit—lighting; ghanau—and cloud; iva—like.

Embracing and sweetly conversing on a beautiful throne there, They shone like a splendid lightning flash and a dark cloud in the sky.
