आगतो धेनुको नाम्ना
कंसं जग्राह रोषतः
नोदयाम् आस दूरेण
बलं कृत्वाथ दारुणम्
āgato dhenuko nāmnā
kaṃsaṃ jagrāha roṣataḥ
nodayām āsa dūreṇa
balaṃ kṛtvātha dāruṇam
āgataḥ—came; dhenukaḥ—Dhenuka; nāmnā—by name; kaṃsam—Kaṃsa; jagrāha—grasped; roṣataḥ—angrily; nodayām āsa—threw; dūreṇa—far away; balam—strength; kṛtvā—doing; atha—then; dāruṇam—fearsome.
English translation of verse 1.6.54:
Then a demon named Dhenuka came and grabbed Kaṃsa. With fearsome strength Kaṃsa angrily threw him far away.
