The Garga-samhita Verse 1.6.54, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 1 of Chapter 6 (Description of Kamsa’s Strength) of Canto 1 (goloka-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

आगतो धेनुको नाम्ना
कंसं जग्राह रोषतः
नोदयाम् आस दूरेण
बलं कृत्वाथ दारुणम्

āgato dhenuko nāmnā
kaṃsaṃ jagrāha roṣataḥ
nodayām āsa dūreṇa
balaṃ kṛtvātha dāruṇam

āgataḥcame; dhenukaḥDhenuka; nāmnā—by name; kaṃsam—Kaṃsa; jagrāha—grasped; roṣataḥ—angrily; nodayām āsa—threw; dūreṇa—far away; balam—strength; kṛtvā—doing; athathen; dāruṇamfearsome.

English translation of verse 1.6.54:

Then a demon named Dhenuka came and grabbed Kaṃsa. With fearsome strength Kaṃsa angrily threw him far away.
