स्त्रियः सुतल-वासिन्यो
वामनं वीक्ष्य मोहिताः
तपस् तप्त्वा भविष्यन्ति
गोप्यो वृन्दावने विधे
striyaḥ sutala-vāsinyo
vāmanaṃ vīkṣya mohitāḥ
tapas taptvā bhaviṣyanti
gopyo vṛndāvane vidhe
striyaḥ—women; sutala—in Sutala; vāsinyaḥ—residing; vāmanam—Lord Vāmana; vīkṣya—seeing; mohitāḥ—charmed; tapas taptvā—performing austerities;
English translation of verse 1.5.21:
