The Garga-samhita Verse 1.4.52, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. श्री-राम उवाच
यथा हि लक्ष्मणो भ्राता
तथा प्रार्थ्यो वरो यदि
अद्यैव स-फलो भाव्यो
भवद्भिर् मत्-प्रसङ्गतः

śrī-rāma uvāca
yathā hi lakṣmaṇo bhrātā
tathā prārthyo varo yadi
adyaiva sa-phalo bhāvyo
bhavadbhir mat-prasaṅgataḥ

śrī-rāmaḥ uvāca—Śrī Rāma said; yathā—as; hi—indeed; lakṣmaṇaḥLakṣmaṇa; bhrātā—brother; tathā—so; prārthyaḥ—requested; varaḥ—benediction; yadi—if; adyatoday; eva—indeed; sa-phalaḥ—fruitful; bhāvyaḥ—will be; bhavadbhiḥ—by you; mat—of Me; prasaṅgataḥ—by the association.

English translation of verse 1.4.52:

Śrī Rāma said: If you had asked this of My brother Lakṣmaṇa, I would arrange that today your wish would bear its fruit.
