The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.4.330, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 330 of Antya-khanda chapter 4—“Descriptions of Shri Acyutananda’s Pastimes and the Worship of Shri Madhavendra”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 3.4.330:

বালি মারি’ সুগ্রীবেরে রাজ্য ভার দিযা মিত্র-পদ দিলা তারে করুণা করিযা ॥ ৩৩০ ॥

वालि मारि’ सुग्रीवेरे राज्य भार दिया मित्र-पद दिला तारे करुणा करिया ॥ ३३० ॥

vāli māri’ sugrīvere rājya bhāra diyā mitra-pada dilā tāre karuṇā kariyā || 330 ||

vali mari’ sugrivere rajya bhara diya mitra-pada dila tare karuna kariya (330)

English translation:

(330) “The Lord killed Vāli and entrusted the kingdom to Sugrīva. Out of compassion, He made friends with Sugrīva.
