The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.23.114, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 114 of Madhya-khanda chapter 23—“Wandering about Navadvipa On the Day the Lord Delivered the Kazi”.

উচিত বলিতে হৈ আমরা `পাষণ্ড’ ধন্য নদীযায এত উপজিল ভণ্ড” ভযে কেহ কিছু নাহি করে প্রত্যুত্তর প্রভু-স্থানে গিযা সবে করেন গোচর ॥ ১১৪-১১৫ ॥
उचित बलिते है आमरा `पाषण्ड’ धन्य नदीयाय एत उपजिल भण्ड” भये केह किछु नाहि करे प्रत्युत्तर प्रभु-स्थाने गिया सबे करेन गोचर ॥ ११४-११५ ॥
ucita balite hai āmarā `pāṣaṇḍa’ dhanya nadīyāya eta upajila bhaṇḍa” bhaye keha kichu nāhi kare pratyuttara prabhu-sthāne giyā sabe karena gocara || 114-115 ||

English translation:
(114-115) “They call us atheists for speaking the truth. All glories to Nadia, which is filled with so much hypocrisy!” Out of fear, the devotees did not reply. They went to the Lord and explained everything to Him.
Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:
“When we try to explain that the process of hari-nāma-kīrtana introduced by Gaura-Nityānanda is not sanctioned by the Vedas, ordinary foolish people call us `atheists devoid of scriptural knowledge,’ therefore the new path introduced by these dharma-dhvajīs, or religious imposters, is simply cheating.” Without replying to the imprudent atheistic
inhabitants, the devotees went to Mahāprabhu and explained how they were being unfairly tortured.
