This photograph depicts Gudrun Corvinus (1931-2005 A.D)—Nepal was a blank page in the world map of prehistoric study till yesterday, it was Gudrun Corvinus who fitted Nepal in to the gap. She was born in 1931 A.D in the village of Stettin, Germany and completed her study on Geology, Paleontology and Prehistory from the university of Tubingen. First she worked in south African archaeology. she was one of initial members of the the team who later discovered the skeleton of body the first hominid in the world. During her long stay in Indian sub-continent, she was affected by the virgin field of Pre-historic study from sivalik in Nepal. She came to Nepal first in 1981 A.D and then she did her work on the Nepal sivalik and DPG valley from 1983 to 1984 funded by DPG After 1994 she had to support herself for futher study .She did not stop the effort and kept continued anyhow.

The Natural History Gallery includes rare exhibitions of various animals and objects relating to natural science. It also includes a doll sectiondisplaying the ancient lifestyle and attire of people from around the world. The items found here are exhibited in the National Museum of Nepal (Rashtriya Museum).
