Nayana (नायन) in Nepali refers to the animal Great Tibetan Sheep (Ovis ammon, from the Ovis genus and Bovidae family). It is is mentioned as one of the “Protected animals of Nepal”.

The word Nayana can also be transliterated as Nāyana.
