Yauvata (यौवत).—[yuvatīnāṃ samūhaḥ aṇ]

1) An assemblage of young women; अवधृत्य दिवोऽपि यौवतैर्नसहाधीतवतीमिमामहम् (avadhṛtya divo'pi yauvatairnasahādhītavatīmimāmaham) N.2.41;11.9; मनुष्यनारीजनतोऽपि यौवतं दिवौकसां श्रेष्ठतमं वदन्ति (manuṣyanārījanato'pi yauvataṃ divaukasāṃ śreṣṭhatamaṃ vadanti) Rām. Ch.2.3.

2) The quality of a young woman (beauty &c.); the state of being a young woman; अहो विबुधयौवतं वहसि तन्वि पृथ्वीगता (aho vibudhayauvataṃ vahasi tanvi pṛthvīgatā) Gītagovinda 1 (surasundarīrūpam).
