Vyavahāratas (व्यवहारतस्) means “in accordance with (worldly conventions)”, according to the Śivapurāṇa 2.3.13 (“Śiva-Pārvatī dialogue”).—Accordingly, after Śiva spoke to Pārvatī: “O dear one, this was said by Śiva in accordance with worldly conventions and dealings [i.e., laukika-vyavahāratas]. Pārvatī thereupon laughed to herself and spoke these sweet words”.
