Source: archive.org: Shiva Purana - English TranslationVākyaviśārada (वाक्यविशारद) refers to “being clever in speech”, according to the Śivapurāṇa 2.3.33 (“The appeasement of Himavat”).—Accordingly, after Menakā spoke to Arundhatī: “Arundhatī, the chaste lady thus addressed, advised her in various ways and returned to the place where the sages were seated. Then they began to advise the lord of the mountains, after thinking on the feet of Śiva. They were clever in speech (vākyaviśārada) and they spoke respectfully”.
