Source: archive.org: Shiva Purana - English TranslationVairavarjita (वैरवर्जित) refers to “one who is free from inimical thoughts”, according to the Śivapurāṇa 2.3.14 (“The Birth of Tāraka and Vajrāṅga”).—Accordingly, after Varāṅgī spoke to Vajrāṅga: “On hearing the words of his beloved, he was disagreeably surprised and vexed. He was free from inimical thoughts [i.e., vairavarjita]. With perfect wisdom and Sāttvika feelings in his heart he said:—[...]”.
