Vāgullekha (वागुल्लेख) refers to the “manifestation of speech”, according to Arṇasiṃha’s Mahānayaprakāśa verse 100-101.—Accordingly, “The goddesses of the Śāmbhava (Siddhas) reside in the abode free of duality and bestow the attainment of the plane of oneness (sāmarasya). They are said to be these very (goddesses) because, expanding, luminous lights, they are intent on devouring (the duality of) the fourfold manifestation of Speech [i.e., vāgullekha-catuṣṭaya] that ranges from the Supreme to the Corporeal (vaikharī)”.
