Tiryaṅmukhottānāsana (तिर्यङ्मुखोत्तानासन, “upside-down face stretched-out posture”) is a Sanskrit word referring to a type of posture (āsana) used in Yoga. It is composed of the words tiryañc (upside-down), mukha (face), uttāna (stretched) and āsana (posture).
